Castlevania: The Adventure speedrun for Game Boy in 19:32 [Former World Record]
We did it, the adventure is finally over! Very happy about this time. I've held the record in all 3 Gameboy Castlevania games!
Christopher deserves a rest from all that walking. This is the Game Boy version which is slow, the "remake" Game Boy Color version from Konami GB Collection Vol.1 (Europe) runs slightly faster, but the gameplay remains the same.
I'm glad I got this run, I needed a better stage 2 and 4 to pull this off and I only got hit once on stage 2. F*ck the lag and the bats, and most importantly, Konami.

man, I literally can feel your tension through the run. I know how tight those jumps are and how slooooooooow Christopher walks. Looks like he have concrete in his pants

Late on commenting on this, but gratz on taking my old record, I'm honestly flattered someone else bothered to run this game and beat it, your run showed where mine had flaws. I might come back to it sometime, though I doubt I'll have the patience to beat it.

damn i completely forgot how agonizingly slow paced this game was. i was never able to get past the second level. great run for sure

Very impressive to never even see the leftward moving spikes in Level 3.

Impressive run. I never beat the game myself. I could not deal with the clunky controls.

Yeah, I can't believe they decided to add this over Legends (odd they would call that an embarrassment over this), which hasn't been re-released as far as I know. Maybe if there's a 2nd collection.
