Hi Tim, another great video, thanks! I got hooked on knife danglers when I discovered trad scandi knife sheaths with thong danglers some years ago. I’d used that useful concept in sidearm tactical kit earlier during my military and law enforcement careers but never considered them for knives until after I retired and ‘discovered’ scandi carry for knives. So, right, why WOULDN’T it also make sense? It’s just so useful and practical for the reasons you mentioned. I now carry all my knives in dangler fashion (I should probably make a video of how I do that with trad scandi sheath thongs and simple leather lacing but I’m kinda a dinosaur with that technology, lol!). Anyway, I thought I’d endorse another option, the clip dangler system available from Helle. About $25.00 here in the U.S. I have several of these and they are also quite good.

Someone else mentioned the Helle option I will look into that one. Do you make videos? It would be interesting to see. The technology isn't too difficult, I am a dinosaur too. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience.

Looks good. Will probably get one. It varies alot by me how I carry knives, depending of the season, clothing and tasks etc (also of the knives of course). Thats why I like to have the options. Specially in winter I do like the dangler. Thanx for the video!

Me too, I normally belt carry preferably low. But it varies a lot. Big coats always get in the way. Thanks for watching mate.

Hello Nicole, great to hear from you. Very busy here. Christmas tourist season in full swing. I hope all is good there over the pond where everyone thinks Santa lives in the north pole. Sometimes I wish he did😂

Nice! Being Swiss I often use the Victorinox Multiclip. It allows me to remove the knife and the clip from my belt and store both inside my backpack when I use public transport. It is perfectly legal to carry a knife (or axe, or a sword even) here, but the sensationalised reports on TV make me store knives, axes and even saws inside my pack, when I am using public rides. Yes, the dangler works for that too. 😉

The victorinox multiclip looks really interesting (never heard of it before, just looked It up). Would actually be really handy in my job. There are all sorts of dog sledding bits and pieces that could be attached to one of these. Thanks for watching the video mate.

I been using one of these danglers for a while now on my Casstrom Swedish Forest Knife. I have also used it with a couple of other knives including my very old Helle Temagami. As Helle now also have a Belt Clip (dangler) available, I may have to get one for the Temagami for brand purity.😁😜

Never seen the Helle one, I have always liked the look of the Tengmalmi. Looks like a great knife. Thanks for watching the video mate.

Nice. Is that a Frisian flag in the background?
@KuukkeliBushcraft7 ай бұрын
Yes it is, a Frisian left it there a couple of years ago. Thanks for stopping by mate.

I don't mind a sheath with a dangler. Most of the time I attach my knife to my backpack anyway or place it in a pocket.
