Slayer is my favorite skill also. I remember way back thinking I'd never be able to get 99 and now im at 39.7m xp. Nowadays, if you're not doing end game pvm or a really good pker its really the only way to rake in gp. Skilling was killed profit wise by bots and the abundant supply of resources gathered from pvm.

Farming herb runs is still very profitable. I make at least 6m a week passively just from picking toadflax and making them into toadflax (unf)

@@VividCoding yeah but they max out at an effective rate of 3m gp per hour. Muspah is an easy boss that easily rakes in more than that. Also raids blow it out of the water. Trees for efficientscape.

My most lucrative slayer task, i got dags, and did the kings. I ended up getting 2 berserk rings, a seers ring, and a archers ring. All 3 in one trip. It was absoluetly beautiful and that was actually my biggest trip for loot ever. But to add to that, I only killed the ranger and melee and rarely killed the mage. I just tanked a lot, more then I should have, but I managed.

It's such a massive hit of dopamine. I finally sold my slayer loot tab after 3mo of slaying and made roughly 301m. It felt sooooooo good to get that much gp AND free up like 200 bank slots lmao

Definitely not worth it. But if you do, hang out at the lunar isle bank for like 5-10mins and report EVERY bot you see. Bots are what ruined the profit of it

It’s like 1.5-2m profit an hour, herb runs are 4.5m profit per effective hour. It’s crazy how bad Vorkath is

@@dans1454 you can thank the bots for that. If you’re ever doing something that requires bank standing like fletching or blowing glass etc, hang out at the Lunar Isle bank and report all the Vorkath bots you see

I plan on getting back into slayer soon and was wondering should I buy a Rapier or the new fang for higher dps? I usually just use a whip for slayer tasks and I already have a dragon Warhammer. Which weapon would be the better investment?

The fang works in a way which makes it better against monsters with higher defense. So for normal slayer, the fang wouldn’t do much for you. A rapier will be better suited for normal slayer tasks.

Don’t get a rapier!! Use a dps calculator and you’ll see the ONLY time a rapier beats the fang is on very low lvl monsters. It’s a total waste of money

@@pimpster122 it’s not. There are a few monsters it’s better at, like very low lvl monsters. If you’re killing anything over lvl 100 fang is better almost 100% of the time. So if you’re a slayer noob, sure it’ll be better cuz you’re fighting jellies and dagganoths and sh*t, but once you’re past fighting low lvl monsters all the time fang is always better

Could you give a short list of slayer tasks you'd do for money in general? I got 99 slayer years back and want to get back into the game but I'm not sure what tasks are worth or not.

I generally do most tasks that require level 60 and above. Mainly for the chance of superior monsters because the imbued heart is nearing a price tag of 70M. You're not gonna make much profit from Aberrant Spectres or Dust Devils, but it's still profit with the slight change of a 70M item drop. Ya never know I suppose.

Just a few hours a day. Whenever I had time to hop on. I’m usually always able to play on my lunch break and a but throughout the day. And usually some before bed.

Off topic but is masori better then void at vorkath now?

The DPS difference is marginal at best. The benefit of masori is its higher magic defense. So less magic damage = less time eating.
