Ed & Ray on the job again! From the opening shot of the misty morning mountain top…. I knew this was gonna be a great project. Out there on the mountain it probably never occurs to you that there are wars, hatred, crime, poverty and of course the plague called politics. So, I won’t mention them!!! But, before this is over you have to promise me to pursue those brook trout ! I mean if a place like that can’t inspire you to cast a line then you may need an overdose of chill pills. I’m so happy for you to have a summer project in a getaway like that… on the same site every day… with sleeping accommodations nearby (especially with fuel so high)… and… in a spot nestled right in Mother Natures heart. I’ll bet your stress has dropped to a level where your pulse sounds like a grandfather clock! One with a slow, constant tick-tocking pace… Aside from those irregular chimes when you meet a Timber Rattler. I truly was glad to see you post… I’ve been missing you guys. Thanks

Dave this is the most peaceful job site I have ever worked on! I know there’s A lot of craziness going on in the world but when I am here it all goes away. Our lodging is perfect and Ray is definitely plan on doing a little fishing when he gets a chance. Of course he forgot his fishing rod this week but he has his lures 😂 We will try and keep everyone updated as to how the progress is going. As always thank you for your support Dave 👍🏻

Thanks bud! For some reason I can never say it the same twice! Lol The 308 has been a game changer on this job! The 306 was nice but this is the machine that we needed!👍🏻💪🏻

This is going to be an interesting project from start to finish Ed !! 308 is proving to be universal machine, you will put it through its paces !! Can see why you enjoy working in the mountains, does not matter what the weather does, they always have great views (unless it is tipping down !). Not much topsoil to remove, can't see drainage being an issue, we have similar type of stone over here, makes great sub base material!! Just keep your heads on the swivel for the snakes Ed !!! 🧐😬😂

The cat 308 is definitely proving to be the machine for the job! This site is so beautiful it’s a pleasure to work here. You are 100% correct on the snakes we have seen six so far but none in our path of danger. We are keeping our heads down and looking all the time. Thanks for watching Alex stay tune for more 👍🏻

Great view! I am leaning towards the 309 just for the extra hydraulic motor, but the 308 is a strong machine for sure! I really like the new generation CAT machines. Enjoy your holiday! Salute to all those who have served and are serving our country 🇺🇸💪🧨

It is an awesome site! I have never run the 309 but you’re right with the extra hydraulic motor you can do a lot more as far as attachments. Definitely want to give a thank you to all the men and women who have served our country and wish I would have remembered do that last week in this video.

i looked all winter for that exact machine, coupler, thumb and plumbed, and still can’t find it, what year is it and is it pre def and where did you find it? where’s the young guy in all your other videos, haven’t seen him in a while, going to be a great video series if you have time for filming.

I looked all winter as well! They are so hard to find in decent shape. This is a 2017 with every option except the replaceable cutting edge on the blade. I bought it from RP Equipment in Allentown Pennsylvania. It has the DPF filter but no DEF fluid. Brandon is on his own doing jobs now and still makes videos once in a while. It was a lot easier when we were working together but now we both find it difficult to film and operate. We still talk on the phone a couple times a day and see each other on the weekends. Good luck finding a good used 308. They are tough to find as you know.
