In this video im using my Cat 314e excavator / Digger to hammer out the rest of my lumber yard pad build. I broke my ripper the day before and needed to finish it up with my NPK hydraulic hammer. After hammering I spread the rocky material over the softer dirt and track it in . It packed really well and I got it to the grade I wanted. We had to move some Logs and then I was able to blend it all into my driveway; and finish it up with gravel spread by my cat 259d compact track loader skid steer. Don't miss the action in this one! That Lava cave might have made an interesting underrground prep supply cache.

I thought about it for a sec but it definitely has water that flows through it and that would make it hard to store anything in, if I find a pocket that's sealed then I'm all over it for storage !

how big can those lava tubes get?

They can get bigger than an airplane hanger, there's a few massive one like that just up the street from my property, just about 300 yards north, it's a scary thing doing Excavation here

They are really common on this Island, we have a lot of new volcanic activity, most of this island is littered with lava tubes and caves, most areas if you dig down through rock more than 4 feet you have a good chance of hitting one, but it is really good drainage .
