My bunnies all had unique personalities, likes, dislikes favorite spots in the yard, treats, etc... but they all agreed: Chase dat cat!! Put the fear of Bun into the long legged bastards! I honestly think that's what they were doing, in a way, whether they meant to or not. The cat is clearly a fuzzy sibling of the buns, and so it doesn't attack them or pounce them and rough house. Obviously it approached to sniff with typical kitty curiosity... the bun got that via cat's body language and decided to be bold, put both back toots on the ground, and chase dat cat. Buns have an established hierarchy (bunierarchy?) If you have more than one (such you already should) they decide whose boss by acting like dippy kis on a playground doing same, if both are fixed....or is a lot messier if it's unfixed bunnies, of any sex combo. Two girls will fight more than two boys, is what ive generally heard.

House cats are fine dogs are terrible for rabbit never pair them the dog will have their instincts kick in soon, the standard tabby are ok

@@kurisu-2385 my dogs, that i have trained, protected my buns jealously when they frolicked in the yard together. I wouldn't trust any dog i didn't train myself, obviously. Bunnies can always use a big brother or sister looking out for them.

We temporarily had a rabbit and it would chase our cat, lol. She (the cat) was very smart, though, and knew not to fight back. But you could see her frustration in her eyes... 😂

The cat is half their size and isn't being agressive. The cat doesn't even have it's claws out. I don't see the problem. As long as the owner is watching there is no danger.

Can I just say it's so funny because I had a rex & have a lop(both shape & ears like your buns)..we have a cat, same markings..our bunnies, especially our female lop, tries to rape the male cats on a regular. My cat weighs 17lbs & my lop is a mini. They chase the 2 huge cats all the time. This is so my house😆😆

I used to have a rabbit and cat in the house. Funniest thing I ever seen. They would play like this often. The Bunny was soo nosey and the cat always wanted his privacy.
