Yeah my 1 cat gave the softest nibbles when she cuddle, never rough. She just passed 😢 but my 2nd cat (last living Durban) not only bites hard but monkey grips my arms 1st. A cat I had many years ago started a cat fight through a door screen. I grabbed a towel th grab him and bring him inside. The towel slipped and he reacted as if the enemy cat had him from behind. He chomped me on the back of my hand. I hollered, he promptly let go and stared at me with the most appalled look of horror. I shooed him into the house ..... and he slunk. He hid for three days. I didn't yell at him either. He just knew he had bitten Mom and was deeply grieved by it. He was highly protective of me and would have taken on a bear if it was attacking me. ❤

I had a cat that did something similar but a bit worse to my ex husband, a stray cat was jumping up onto my screened in porch windows and yowling for a fight with my indoor cat. My cat was puffed and slapping the screen and my ex tried to grab him by the scruff and bring him inside quick and my polydactyl 20 lb muscular mutt of a cat got away from him then launched onto his thigh with all the claws flailing and teeth biting in. He tore his thighs wide open about 1/4 inch deep. He had about 60 butterfly bandages holding it all together. We laugh now, but we were all freaking out at that point! Good thing I loved that f***ing cat!😂
