Besides the tuna (of course), mine loves chicken breast and filet of pork. I must try the hearts though. That will also give me an opportunity to try them - never had hearts before. Happy Sunday to Cody and family 🧡

Cats seem to take a liking to the jelly or gravy that’s inside of those cat food pouches. Cody is a perfect example. And you know your cat likes a certain food when the plate is licked clean. 👍😸✌️

My cats are crazy about tuna, too. It's impossible to open even a can of tomatoes without causing tremendous excitement. It's nice to see Cody enjoy the same treat Alvi loved so much!

Cody`s look at you after serving dry food for the second time: "Hooman, are you serious? Eat this yourself!" It makes me happy that he prefers healthy food, eating it with great excitement. My cats loved chicken hearts, raw or cooked for only 2 - 3 minutes.

@@Alvicatchannel Just try it, it`s a very good source of taurine, that cats can`t produce but need it. They also loved cooked, roasted or steamed meat like chicken, turkey and beef. Steamed fish like the people of Japan eat it was also a favourite, except for Tom. In his opinion, fish was like "this stinks, i must puke".

@@Alvicatchannel They could eat with me because i use not much spices or none. And i always have a frying pan with a very even surface, where i can roast meat without using oil or other fat. So my cat got very healthy meat without spices and fat, and they loved it. Rice was always cooked without salt, and my vet allowed to give them a little portion if they wanted it. Not more than a flat teaspoon, but they were satisfied. Having a very good vet nearby was a big advantage for me and my cats.

It absolutely is. Beef heart is a rich source of protein and other nutrients for cats. It contains essential amino acids, iron, zinc, phosphorus, and selenium. And Cody loves it :)

My Cody cat!!!!!! What a great food preferences hit parade!!!!!! I watched how your eyes were....spinning at the view of your sooooo appreciated 1st place beef heart slices!!!!! I have to say that watching you eating so happily made me to run to the kitchen too!!!!! You're simply a Super Cat!!!! A high paw from Chania' and a lot of kisses to your Adorable Humans! PS A bit less hot but I'll remember forever this so hot summer...Greece was in flame, we lost a huge amount of virgin woods because of the weather and in a lot of cases because of people that caught the occasion to put fire....

Of course, kibble is not his fav food! Wet food is delicious💞 compared with the dry one. He slurps the jelly off plate in no time. It's yummy😻! And tuna is simply heavenly!👌 I see why our ginger sweetheart❤ sweeps every single crumb from his plate! But the sliced beef heart? This is news to me! We don't find this treat on supermarket shelves here! Most likely to find it in a pet shop? I'll look for it next time I''l visit the pet shop.☺Cheers! 😻💞

The slice beef heart we buy is originally meant for human consumption. It's not very common food here in the Netherlands but we have many different supermarkets, so there's always one or two that sell it. Beef heart contains a lot of nutrients to keep a cat healthy.

That reminds me of the time years ago I babysat my sister's cat while she was on vacation. I didn't see the cat anywhere so I figured he was sleeping in my bedroom closet (his favorite place). I was about to go to bed but I didn't want the cat to go hungry if he got up before me so I got a can of cat food to put in the cat's dish. As soon as I pulled the top of the can off the cat was at my feet. He must have heard the can opening (undoubtedly his favorite sound).

Haha! Cody's disappointment when it's dry food day again! I do remember from your videos that our sweet Alvi's favourite was the same! How amazing is this?! And with the wet food Cody has a pattern! I noticed he first ate the jelly and then the meat! He reminds me of my young self as a kid when I had some kind of oreo cookies I first ate the cream and then the biscuit!😹

My cats know which cabinet i keep the "people" tuna in, so it can be hard to get anything out of there without a little excitement on their part. Last night I cooked chicken leg quarters for them, let the bones really cook down to make a rich broth. That's their Sunday meal, with a taste test last night after it cooled.

Like seeing Cody enjoying all his favorite things, but please check with your vet too much tuna whether human or commercial brands can become addictive and high level of human tuna is not good because of mercury. Just fyi.. (perhaps tuna in your area doesn't have high levels of mercury, as does here in the US ).

We've also read that eating too much tuna has its health risks, that's why we don't serve it on a regular basis.
