If I do a cat delete you think i would get inspection if a cop pulls me over? My car has 4 and I'm doing full straight pipe no cats no resonators, I want gains but also I don't wanna get a big ass ticket.. I live in Oregon

Actually they are both resonators in theory. These are not real mufflers maybe they have to legally call them that but they are resonators mid n rear. Mids are more quieter tho.

I only like the resonator delete with glass packs. The exhaust pulsates and without glass pack or resonator the air fuel mixture is off and sounds too lean at low rpms. I like it to sound like it has cams at idle as well. Its needs the ignition system that can give it extra voltage to the fuel pump so that it pops correctly like a Harley that runs both cylinders on the same firing cycle. It's a patented sound. It's the same difference as a Honda or a Yamaha vtwin. If I drove an 06 with aluminum valve seats I'd run 93 with lead substitute. Why? Because the hemi is a high compression engine. The 93 doesn't burn slower or cause carbon buildup. The 87 is for fords that you treat like read headed girlfriend. They're great. And reliable. But the srt is your read headed girlfriends, girlfriend. You take care of her

I have a bolt that flushes oil filter. I flush it every gas tank 2 or 3 times until oil is black to see through. And still change it at 3k miles. Why? Because I like to drive my shit like I stole it and it still runs 300k miles like a ford

I like all engines. Especially the 3 cylinder opposed piston engine Obama finally got Ford to build. It has 6 pistons. Makes more horsepower than 289 they put in mustangs for 5 decades. And gets 4 times mpg. Weights 1/3. And the hemis that seized up will still just need a day and some marvel mystery oil. When it short shifts and chirps tires with the tranny cooler and lower 180 thermostat you'll think that's precise shifting. Mark worman won't rebuild that garbage without drum brakes. @@nelagordon24 mufflers on a hellcat aren’t necessarily power restrictive. they’re designed to make it quieter for sure but with a performance car like a hellcat it’s not like they’re putting them on to lose power. plus mixing mufflers and catless/long tubes etc changes the pitch/tone of the sound, jus depends on how u like it. ur prolly losing out on 3-5 hp with the mufflers on bc they’re hellcat mufflers

@@pnw_hc People always do that. "I did this or that, didn't make more power so it must not work." Yeah, because when you increase airflow and/or fuel flow in some way, you have to tune for it. Stock EFI can only self tune/correct for so much, most of the time you need a custom tune.

In this case yes but not always. The one with cat delete is quieter and most likely has better gas mileage and horsepower. The catalytic converters job is to filter out toxins and by doing that it restricts airflow more than a muffler does. So the muffler delete not only does less but in some cases it can actually lower horsepower because of not enough back pressure

The car was tuned for it.
