@@50TEW Wagyu isn't really higher quality meat, just has more fat and marbling. Which creates a rich taste that could easily be beat by proper cooking of regular steak.

There is nothing special with wagyu, i already taste it when my wife brought it, gifted by her friend, and i ate it. There is no taste of meat. Well that's happen in my dream, with the fact I'm not married yet :(

@@arenssasyl7365 there are different wagyus, traditional Japanese ones are mostly fat and melting in mouth. I prefer Australian wagyu it's cheaper and about half fat, still delicious and melting but also has the firmness of steak

Cats can taste ATP in meat. Wagyu is often described as "more meaty" than meat and have more umami. So wagyu cows might have more ATP in their muscles and that could be correlated to how savory/umami something tastes
