What's happening in these comments? Why is there so much hate towards Jaclyn? Honestly, she can't do anything right. Everyone is mad because she didn't go to fashion week, but let's be real, there would be just as many people TICKED OFF of she had gone and wasn't able to put up a makeup tutorial. It hurts my heart that she gets so much heat for nothing. She cannot please everyone. Jaclyn, your videos help me in so many ways. When my husband and I got married in December and moved away form our families and friends, I watched your videos even more and felt like I had a friend. That sounds so silly but it is completely true. I am so incredibly thankful for you and your commitment to what you believe in. Even though I don't know you, it feels like you're family. I think that is how a lot of your subscribers feel. I'm proud of you and I love you! Thanks for everything.

Not mad that she didn't go. While I think it was silly not to do something you think is a dream come true, it's the reason she said she didn't go, and they say she said it. It came off as completely non genuine. Not going because you promised to make videos isn't the truth, or not all of it. And we see through it. Just be real with us!

Maybe so Jaclyn. It's possible you really didn't go because you wanted to make videos. If you say so, I can believe you. However, telling us we are the reason you didn't take this awesome opportunity is like a slap on the face and it's rude. I used the example above, but I hadn't go a on a vacation from work I. A long ass time, because I am dedicated to my clients. So what if I went to them saying I had a once in a lifetime, dream come true trip to go to but I'm not going to to go because I want to stay with them. Don't you think that would make them feel crappy and/or guilty? That's basically what you did. It didn't come off genuine at all. I am not the only one on here who thought so. In fact one of my comments has like 60 likes. Quit responding to negative feedback and trying to justify your actions, just do something about it and watch what you say and how You say it.

So many of my favorite you tubers are getting lip injections, and quite honestly it's hard to watch their videos anymore. It takes away the natural beauty of those ladies. You are one of kind!! Jaclyn if you want to get your lips done and you've been wanting to for a long time, GET THEM DONE!!! The only opinion you need to worry about is your own and your husbands. Its no one else's business. Live your life for you, you only have one and if there are haters over it then OH WELL. Do what makes you happy. Girl, I respect and love you a lot, but turning down a trip to NYFW from Sephora to work in the big leagues is turning down a HUGE amazing opportunity! So many pro MUAs would kill for that opportunity. Us subs just adore you to pieces and would be rooting for you all the way if you decided to go. Would it be at all possible to pre film and still go? I would love for you to have that experience and make wonderful memories there.

I usually block out the negativity, but these comments are just outrageous. And after seeing your snapchat and these comments, I was literally close to crying. I don't know why other people are so mad about your decision. I feel like people forget you're human, and just like everyone else you have feelings and rights. I don't ever understand why people feel the need to try to tell you how or when to film, but you obviously do it well enough on your own to have so much recognition! God damn. The people who are being negative about Jaclyn's decision to stay home and not go to fashion week need to just stop. It's not a big deal that she turned down going to fashion week, contrary to what some of you may think; she can do whatever she wants with her life. As I skim through some of the comments below, I have to admit the sheer amount of hate surprises me. At the end of the day, Jaclyn is just a human being and she tries to be as upfront as possibly. SO WHAT if there was other reasons she didn't go to fashion week? SO WHAT if she only does her own make up? It's her life to live, so her decisions are her own to make. As a subscriber, I appreciate that Jaclyn keeps it as "real" as she does. She shares struggles, accomplishments and daily silliness. BUT that in no way gives us all free reign into her life. We see GLIMPSES. With that being said, thank you Jaclyn for allowing us to share in all that you do. It's brave to be so open. Keep on keepin' on.

I had to pause the video barely 4 minutes in, to make this comment! I (and I'm sure everyone else!) feel beyond honored that you chose us over Sephora. Though, I wish you went! You have worked so hard to get where you are today. As you said in your other video & snaps; "you can do it yourself, ALL you need to do is believe in yourself!" If u want lip injections get them get them for u!! People r always going to find somthing to hate u for because sadly someone people r just like that. Ut sucks but I think u manage it amazing! I got my lip fillers a month and a half ago after wanting then for about 5 yrs. There not crazy there just more defined and honestly it's the one if the best things I've done. My confidence us better x there will always be haters but don't change the things I want in life because of them because then they've won x big hugs x amber x

I have learned some makeup tips and some looks. I know she is making money doing this (this is not a charity for her loving fans), and I don't think she is some kind of god. Some of these fans get so rabid and suspend all logic that it is scary. If you come on here than with other than an adoring comment, they lose their little minds.
