I do think older machines are better. The operator is the operator, and he has to know how to use it, if he doesn't know, then, we'll have to hire anther one. I know of operators going and doing everything by hand, manually, and they do a god job, always, and fast! All this tech is making the human brain useless. Sorry, but it is what I think. What a bullshit!!!! GPS ok. Auto grade for the last layer on a dozer or a grader for the five last centimeters ok! But 'auto load sequence " on a scraper!!?? It is the end of real feeling and the know-how of the operator no? The death of a beautiful profession. Anyone could be do it, even monkeys...
