So when I met the Numero Uno I really thought I had cracked it @ 17 years old as I signed myself in each week along with all the real attendees of the colleges. I have had a lot of cats over the years, but I only had one that was like this. She was totally chill in the car. She was more like a dog too, as she was raised with our dogs I suppose. She would go for walks with us as well. But she loved going on car rides and she liked to look out the window like this kitty. I miss her, she was my childhood cat. One of the best.

They don't really act very differently anyway, other than that cats don't bark, and won't just worship the ground you walk on automatically, they'll only love you if you deserve it. But if you get a dog, they'll probably follow you around the house. And if you get a cat, they'll probably follow you around the house.

That's usually how it works in a dog/cat house. The cat for whatever reason is treated as alpha or is made their leader and he or she rules the house and the dogs don't question it or very seldom challenge it. Often it ends with some barks or maybe growls aggressive noises, hiss and meows that have a tone and attitude that says I rule here. Do something about it, if you can. Dog usually backs down in cases I've seen and that's it. No fights, no nothing major. Dog could also be acting alpha because it is also alpha to know when to yield and an old strategic move to let the opponent think he or she had won and in this case, the dog is power behind the throne.

Besides biological altruism isn’t as uncommon as you think it is, especially kin selection. Vampire bats have been known to regurgitate blood for their roost mates. Altruism is especially well documented in elephants and dolphins. There are thousands of examples of biological altruism, cross species even, from humpback whales saving seals to dolphins rescuing beached whales to bees willing to kill themselves to save the hive (albeit I admit in the case of bees it may be more of an evolutionary drive). I doubt one wants to learn about how to live life from vampire bats? If a husky and a kitten can get along I’ll wager you can get along your fellow human.

Nothing Is Impossible. I also had a cat named Zorro because of his eye patches. He was 5 weeks old at the time he met my beautiful husky Xandor (he was 5 yrs old) they hit it off. We go for a walk every day in the mornings. Xandor is his big brother very protective of him. Zorro loves water too. They sleep together, play together and eat together.
