Shorty clearly understood the game, but approached it like: "Begone, empty cups! Thy have no use for us. You shall be banished from this land, so we and the cup with the treat inside have our peace together. Now move or we will make you move."

Shorty is soooo patient with her dad... She pretended to lose some and win some to make him believe that she, being a cat, is not as smart as a human. She played her part to perfection: the bent head to make it look like she's trying real hard and focusing, the controlled pawing, the oh OK... I'll gobble the treat in a way that suggests I feel very smart and deserving, etc.

Poor Shorty... Cats do not see very well within the first 1.5m. So this kind of game has to rely on her nose. But the treat will leave a trail on the floor when being slid along. So that might confuse her.... At least she does get the treat every time.... She deserves it. 🐈‍⬛❤️🐈‍⬛
