A very pregnant cat showed up 5 days ago, she's pretty skittish you can tell she hasn't had very much contact with people but I was able to get her inside and ina bedroom downstairs. Where she is warm, fed, and safe. She rubs on my legs and now is fine with me petting her. We live out aways and I've seen her off in the distance for about a month before she came to the porch and started coming in to eat, so I know she doesn't have a home and figure she probably was abandoned. I've never had a pregnant cat so have no clue what it looks like when they go into labor but I think she might be starting to. But I don't think her water has broke yet so from what I can gather she is probably a few days out still, but I've noticed other signs. Like behavior change, the babies are very active tonight and she keeps flopping on her side. But she is very petite and her belly is to big for her to clean it much but she's been trying. I'm worried because I don't know the first thing about this and she is extremely big for being so little. I'm binge watching videos right now to try to learn what to watch for and what I need to do and have to prepare for her. I'm nervous and excited. You would think I've had her for yrs and not just a few days lol. Oh and another reason I decided it would be in her and the babies best interest to bring inside is because our temps have been in the teens and early 20's at night and we just got hit with another snow storm last night. I just don't think it would have been safe to leave her outside. I'm just not that person. That's how I've ended up with 8 cats 😂 UPDATE***She had 8 kittens about a week ago and she is a wonderful mom! She had 1 super tiny baby that I have been helping her feed with kitten formula, I call him Lil Bit 😉 She left him in front of the door at first I thought he didn't make it he was really cold but alive so I warmed him up and rubbed him vigorously and he made it. She did reject him and cleans him up after I get done feeding him. He doesn't like the formula but it seems to be helping. I feed him twice a day and he eats from momma Lady the rest of the time.

I just brought home a rescue that is very heavily pregnant. They don't typically adopt out pregnant mothers, but she just had an amputation of her front leg so they allowed it. Assuming she may not be adopted missing a limb. She's been through Hell and back this past month.

I think the weeks are off. Are you positive on them? All vets seem to agree and articles online say that type of movement you show as week 5 can’t be seen until week 7 or very end of 6 at soonest. She also looks far too big for week 5. Just wondering for my own cat who I estimate is in week 8 but I’m unsure!

I rescued very sick cat from the street, I wasn't even thinking she could be pregnant. She was at the vet, received tons of antibiotics, meds against worms and fleas and everything. Now, I am really worried if she could be pregnant. Not only she received so much drugs, but also I already have an older cat who hates the little stray and literally wants to hurt her, my apartment is tiny and it's getting difficult to have two cats, let alone more. I am very worried. She is going to vet tomorrow, and I hope she is not. This video made me worried, she looks quite rounded in similar way.

my cat is about 8 months old and this is her first batch. we've known she's pregnant for about 4 weeks after she started pinking up but she's not nearly as big as yours was at around 5-6 weeks. maybe its because she's smaller and carrying a potentially smaller litter, but i still think its a lil weird
