The weather is crazy all over. We lost all of our gardens to flooding in NE Missouri, so no produce for us this year, but next year will be amazing! Thanks for your teachings and I love your tomato forest! Came over from Justin and from Holler Homestead to see what you had going on and am liking it! Blessings from NE Missouri!

Fantastic tunnels. That lean and grow is a really interesting way to curtail the plants hitting the top of the tunnel. FYI with a piece of regular human bandage tape put around the one that you broke the top off of, it probably would have fused itself. My grandfather had me and the tomato garden before I could walk, and occasionally brushing up against them we would break a stem, the main trunk, and that's exactly what he would do. Most of the time it worked. Anyway, you're right with that many tomato plants it doesn't really make that much of a impact. Great video thanks for sharing your garden with us, God bless, Jimmy

Great videos keep them coming.great growing of tomatoes. You can use Elmer’s glue on the busted tomato shoot, grafters use to graft tomatoes. I use Elmer glue on roses after pruning 1/4 of an inch or larger Dig around tomato plant when tomatoes are green and will bring tomatoes in quicker to ripe. Do not lift soil.

Great video Casey ! Thanks for sharing the mistakes and failures, they're part of growing and they happen to everyone. Love that you keep it real. I've been growing and gardening for over 40 years and the weather is definitely becoming more challenging each year. Keep up the good work, you and Tori are doing a great job. Have y'all had any challenges with deer using your gardens as a buffet? I have that every year. Thanks again.

You sold out of your tomatoes pretty quickly? That's awesome. Does that mean you'll be growing more next year or are you maxed out on what you can handle growing? Sounds like you have a bit of a cold. Hope you're feeling alright. Loved seeing you "grazing" in the garden. It doesn't get any better than that.

I use the same method you do, except I have two cables about 24" apart to hang them from. Then you can just run them around in the other direction when you get to the end. I sometimes bundle the vines just to keep them out of the aisle. Watching from Pittsboro, NC

I've setup a similar lower and lean tomato trellis, but I'm confused about how to use the trellis. Some tomato vines are growing slower than others. When a tomato vine is short compared to a long vine before it, how do you deal with the longer plant. The longer plant needs to be lower and leaned more than the shorter plant. But doing that would make you go right past the shorter plant and vines start to cross over each other.

Any idea how many trusses of tomatoes you get on average on each plant and what varieties are you growing? Being in a cooler climate generally I nip out the growing tip after five trusses. One of the interesting things watching your videos is how we started tomatoes at the same time but you've already had a harvest while mine still have 3-4 weeks to go.

doubledeckers I dunno I’m probably at 5 or 6 now. Still can do a lot of leaning and it will be hot here till October but pest and disease may require us to cut the season shorter. Sungold and mountain magic

Interesting process. Will you cut off the top of the tomato plant with the rotted stem so it doesn’t put energy into ripening the upper tomatoes? Great looking fruit in the baskets. Thank you. I hope you and Tori are doing well.

You’re doing great on the videos. You and Tori are such a hard workers and deserving of success. When I had tomato plants that looked like that bad one, I just assumed disease and pulled them up and got rid of them to try to keep other plants from getting sick.
