Totally So wholesome I love many things & have tons of interests but truly the simplest things in life are best. Our cats & dogs are gifts to humanity that bring us endless love, joy & laughs. They are one of the greatest things in this life & one of the most precious treasures that you could bestow on yourself or your loved ones. At the end of a long stressful day there is nothing better than being greeted with a face nuzzle by a fuzzy face, wet nose, & wagging tail. It can calm you during the toughest of times & soothe your soul.😁 That’s priceless like this.

For some reason, cats love Tom & Jerry. My cat would be so relaxed whenever I'd watch it. Not a single TV show or movie made her as relaxed as an episode of Tom & Jerry, which is odd, since Tom's always on the receiving end. Lol

They seem very relaxed, because they're thinking about revenge. Vengeful is a cat's favourite emotion. It's why they leave their bellies unguarded, even though they know hoomies cannot help themselves with the floof. There's a really cute cat documentary about it, called The Ghost and the Darkness. I recommend it.

I think it's the fact that it's fast-paced. Cats' vision "framerate" is about double that of humans', and Tom&Jerry features a lot of scurrying figures making acrobatic motions and high-pitched sounds, much like their prey. So watching cartoon must be a good surrogate activity to hunting for them, much as humans might enjoy a good drama or a sports game.

Details you might have missed... 1) There appears to be no water in the bath, only cat. 2) His tail is wrapped around the back of the wooden bench thingy 3) The music fits perfectly with the spreading of his hind paw, and with the retraction of said paw.

Kudos for getting the grammar right! "...no water in the bath, only cat" (NOT "only a cat"). You correctly treat "cat" as an uncountable noun ("mass noun".) As all people who have a cat know, they are made of liquid; you can just "pour" them into any container, as long as they WANT to go in, which they usually do!

My 10 year old tuxedo cat used to watch Tom & Jerry and I was amazed that a cat could enjoy cartoons (this was years before I found out about the Grinch movie cat). My dad had left the tv on for her in the basement, and she was just on the couch staring at the tv mesmerized. We had bought her a VHS of birds, but she had no interest. I went to go show my mom and she screamed at me instead "WHY IS THE TV LEFT ON DOWN THERE!? GO TURN IT OFF RIGHT NOW!" It was really upsetting because I didn't even leave it on and I only told her so she would believe me about the cat. Apparently she was stressed because my dad was always complaining about the electricity bill and leaving lights and electronics on, while he would leave his tv on for the cat. This was no excuse to scream at me. She had ruined what was otherwise a very interesting discovery and funny moment, but this video gave me renewed amusement.
