During our 4 night Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas cruise we got a chance to visit Catalina Island, a cute little island about 30 miles off of the California coast. It was our first time here and we completely fell in love. I went solo for the first time ever on a cruise a few weeks ago. I joined a group cruise through other KZfaqrs and met another solo woman who watches you two as well! Long story short we decided when we went to St. Thomas we would try to recreate the food tour you did! We also went to the Yoda Guy museum in St. Maarten. We both had a blast! Thanks for the inspiration!

In the 7th & 8th grade we went on a weekend trip to Catalina and we stayed in like cabins right by the water and went snorkeling and learned about all the wildlife on the island it was great! Perks of growing up in Southern California. We weren’t close to the town Avalon we were more close to the north end of the island

If you go back to Catalina for the day, the trick is to take the first boat out of Long Beach that way you arrive about 7:30-8am for breakfast then book the latest boat back so you don't get stuck up in the hills hiking and you miss the boat... Then you can relax and get the most out of the day. And if you get bored, you can always change your tickets for an earlier boat back to Long Beach. They have the largest number of boats back and forth.

This was my favorite video you ever did. It was like a mini movie. Maybe all your fans could start a movement to get a cruise line to invite you on an around the world cruise. I can’t think of anyone better to showcase an adventure like that. Thanks for such a lovely Catalina video. I feel like I went there too!

Last year in September, I have been to Catalina Island just by taking a ferry boat from Long Beach. My family and I, as well as some family friends that came with us, walked around and even rented our own golf carts to explore the rest of Avalon. We then got ice cream from Scoops and ate at Bluewater Avalon.

Thank you for taking us on your adventure and review of Catalina Island. I used to take my kids there when they were young as a weekend getaways. It looks like they have a lot of new restaurants and shops. I'm not sure if the Wrigley Ranch is still in operation, but it was something the kids used to like watching the horse show and I remember awesome carnitas tacos at a little hole in the wall place next to a bar with karaoke. Sounds like a possible future trip in our own backyard for 2022.

Yes!!! Go again. The last time we were there we had a great Geo Cache adventure. The snorkeling at Casino point was awesome. The best though, was the Island Safari bus tour to Two Harbor.

I had a blast hanging out with you both in Catalina what a gorgeous place now I must say I was there once when I was a young kid and one thing I remember is I went on a glass bottom boat tour which blew my mind now I just loved exploring the island with you guys and seeing the beauty through your eyes 👀 now to answer your question and only if you have the money and it won’t be to expensive my thought was maybe go there and stay a couple of days so you both could do more exploring and also you could experience the morning afternoon and nightlife so thanks again for allowing me to tag along with you on your Ordinary Adventure throughout Catalina now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you both and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you also please be safe out there

I just vacationed in Catalina this past October for the first time. It did feel like I was somewhere back in time. Stayed hotel facing water, did submarine fish tour. Yes, go back again!

My wife and I spent 3 days there for our anniversary in October, and had a great time. Did and interior tour in a HumVee, drove a golf cart all around, did some biking, stayed at the beautiful Hotel Avalon and experienced quite a few restaurants. You kind of feel like you’ve gone to another country, but are just an hour ferry ride from Long Beach

I loved this. I lived in Orange County for 20 years and never went to Catalina. Now that I know what it’s like I will make it a priority to go sometime. I always wanted to go… I just didn’t. Loved the golf cart island tour. I’m glad you guys had so much fun. ❤️

I did the zip line in Catalina. It was amazing and would love to do it again. I'll be stopping at Catalina on Carnival Radiance next week for New Years. Golf cart looked like so much fun. I also booked the Navigator for April 22. Merry Christmas to you both!!!
