I watched this to remember the perfect vacation my wife and I had back in February. We loved it soooo much, we wanted to return in October. However, plans dictate we have to wait until February'23. I had no complaints. I'm not a picky eater, so I thought the food was fine. Room service 24/7, plus the coffee shop that provides delicious, bite-sized desserts. We stayed in room 3407, identical to yours. The drinks, the entertainment, and service was absolutely wonderful. Perfect vacation. No complaints.

Haha I was waiting for you to say if the water was hot or cold. But you just said it isn’t too….. and then you moved on to a different topic. On a different resort, we had swim up pool as well, but didn’t end up using it because it got pretty cold at night.

Thanks for watching. I didn’t like the restaurant food or room service food. That was my only complaint with this hotel.

Hi! Great video explaining everything! Im sorry if you answered in the vid already but just to confirm, I am planning to go in July on the adults only side and wanted to know if we had all the access to all the facilities on the main resort (Catalonia Punta Cana) part such as shows, food, drinks, beach, and shops? Are they on the same grounds or do we have to take a cart/car to get there? Thanks!

Yes you have access to both facilities. The property is connected and is only a short walking distance apart.

This was very informative! I wonder how was the entertainment at night, do they even have it now? Also, there is no self-serve buffet at this time, right? Or do you simply point at food items and they put it on your plate?

Thank you for your questions. Yes they do have limited entertainment available on the adults only side which just include live singing. The other side has more shows and even a beach party on Wednesday which is the day we left. As far as the buffet, we served ourselves. We were given gloves and had to wear our mask. Hope this was helpful.

I’m happy you enjoyed the video. Thank you for your questions. I did see people cleaning the beach, however it was never fully cleaned while I was there. I went in May for my birthday.

Thank you for your comment. The room is called Privileged Duplex Suite & Swimming Pool. I enjoyed my stay, I just wish they had better food options. Not sure if things have changed since the pandemic.

did you making reservations to the restaurants upon check in or prior to arriving at the resort?

Reservations must be made at hotel. Only some restaurants accepted reservations though.

Riu republica has a great beach, I just don’t like that they didn’t have room service at republica.

Thank you for your question. Some items were included and some were for privilege guests who paid an additional price. Hope this was helpful.

It’s only 24 hr because we had our own private pool. The other pools had a closing time.

Omg why is the beach and the water so ugly? I was planning my holidays there but seeing many videos I realise that the beaches are pretty awful😢unless you go to Saona .

Thank you for watching. If you’re a beach person then this location wouldn’t be ideal. The pools are nice though.
