I love having a Catan creator to watch with my kids and your sportsmanship is a great example to them as they learn graceful winning and losing.

To be brutally honest, I think there truly is such a thing as overdoing table talk to the point it backfires on you..............and this game is one such example of that. I know you almost pulled off the W, but I really think some of the board got annoyed with your degree of chatter by the end. I feel you've got to treat table talk like seasoned salt: apply it here and there but in equal measure know when to restrain yourself. Otherwise the other players can get annoyed, resent the idea of being bossed around or like you're their babysitter (The Chilling Effect)...............and then disgruntedly push back. Really competitive game all around for sure, probably the single most competitive of the final day games so far!
