The most wild part is the wheat port isn’t even high on the list of things she wants. She really wants the sheep port and a city on both starters before allocating resources to the wheat port.

@@kta9255 And especially because she only has the single 9 wheat, how realistic is using the wheat port anyway? She should have pointed down to the 5-2 to be safer. It's pretty clear that, with the super low ore on board, one of the remaining players would prioritize that 8 sheep with the two 4 sheep spots locked out before she even placed her first settles.

Ok I think a couple of things need to be said about this situation as a whole. - this is a game, and while yes it is competitive and ppl want to win that’s not a excuse to be nasty, rude, and toxic. We are here to have fun, first and foremost. - after game 2, Penny if you really wanted to stick to your word of not playing against dandy then you needed to tell the admins to sub you out BEFORE the game started or make it a 3 person game. You should not be quitting because someone placed in a spot that was good for them and bad for you. That is Extremely bad sportsmanship and should not be tolerated as it does nothing but hurt the community and the people who spend there time setting up the tourneys for you to play in.

Well said AKMOMO. I am also aware my style can be frustrating to play against and I do my best to remain respectful in tense situations, regardless of the stakes. I have certainly made MANY mistakes along my journey which have molded me to be a better player and ambassador. As Penny matures and becomes a stronger player, I have no doubt she will find her way. She is very talented and has all the potential to go as high as she wants. As “fun” as this content is, I really hope the community positively encourages her growth and development as a player… as they should with everyone here. At the end of the day, it’s just a game.

I think you're dismissing your involvement during placements here, and I think this second incident hurts your "ambassador" positioning. Would it look as bad if you suggested the plow and it plowed anyone but Penny? Probably not. But the fact that it did, it doesn't sit well with me. All of that is separate from Penny deciding she wouldn't play against you. Maybe she was winning to play the game, no VC, etc despite her statement from round 2. But she wasn't wrong when she tapped you for putting the placement plow in the table.

That plow was best for Dandy and for the table. It was not personal, and just because she is still salty does not exempt her from getting plowed if it is a good move. Case in point being that Green won.

@@alta2178 It's funny how I can't even joke around in a meaningless game - It was 100% tongue in cheek. Considering green did win, maybe it wasn't such a bad play for him after all. If people want to make me responsible for that situation than it discredits green as a competent player, which isn't fair consider he won the game and got to the day final table.

As someone trying to get into Catan, this is totally turning me off. Few things I want to mention/suggest: 1. If you call yourself an ambassador then you need to hold yourself to a much higher standard than someone across the table 2. What is the goal of this channel? You want to make good content right for whatever outcome. This is flat out bad content the last few videos with all this unnecessary garbage whether its arguing or playing against bots This is coming from someone just learning about the catan community and started watching some Catan channels. My opinion maybe doesn't matter to you, but I'm sure if I'm getting a sour taste in my mouth as a newbie, other newbies are too. And that turns people off from the game. Rethink that ambassador label

I’ve played Penny only 2 times before game 2 and I won both games. She has a history of getting worked up in tense situations but honestly, I didn’t have any beef or issues with her as far as I know leading up to these games. I hope we can successfully play games in the future.

If we have more than 6 tables in a tournament then the winner of the Qual Final gets a ticket into our Cash Tournament (Happens every month that has 5 weekends). And Everyone playing in the Qual Final gets extra League Points for our Free Base League.

this was the Day Final of the 2nd Qualifier for this tournament. There are 3 Qualifiers per tournament, then a semi finals, then the the final table.

It gives dandy a better chance to win next orbit if he cities with that ore. If it wasn’t for the VP pull you can see dandy just needs a 6 to roll for the win, that gives him settle + road steal with the RB

Kinda hate when only two people in VC. Such a big advantage for those two players being able to talk out deals. I think this would be a very different game if everyone was in VC. More competitive and fun

blue pick wasnt that bad for his game, it game him a check to 2;1 with his wheat as he needed a port. And she can easily focus on the 3;1 which she would need. So she had a small but fighting chance. Her saying restart the game was bs.

I'm grateful she ran, bc i bet it wouldn't have been pretty. Her setup is hard to imagine. Not on a 6 would've hurt bad this game, a game where no one needs extra brick. Im not sure how the wheat port helps her cause, only as a settle spot to me. Always read into opponents settle ops! Hers is an OWS setup with bad ore production and only a 3:1 to trade off the bricks. Im curious if Pennyy was in the twitch stream...
