doctor... My mom got a Phacoemulsification surgery ... suture removal done today after 3 weeks post op. How long should she wait before driving? At least 3 kms kulla drive panlama avanga...? Pls ans

Yes, i suggest you can drive after 2 weeks of doing cataract surgery.. but your doctor will be in a better position to tell you as they are treating..

I have loss of central vision in my right side since my age of 11.due to accident.now am 40years old.before10 years i had totel retinal detachment in that eye.and undergone surgery for that.now i have perioharal vision only in that eye.im myopic.how chance i have glucoma or catract in future?

There is always a chance of glaucoma or cataract for everyone, the chances for you is little higher because of accident and previous retinal surgeries.. just have regular check up every year..

வணக்கம் டாக்டர்... எனக்கு 3 வயசு இருக்கும் போது right ஐ center ல வெள்ளை இருந்தது, அத surgery பண்ணி கண்ணுக்குள்ள lens போட்டாங்க, but எனக்கு vision full ஆ கிடைகல்ல, 10 age ல இருந்து specs போட start பண்ணேன் (Long and Near சேர்த்து போட்டு இருந்தேன்).... அப்புறம் 24 age ல (2014) right eye ல eye nerve ல crack ஆகி இருக்கும்னு சொன்னாங்க (கண்ணுல அடி எதுவும் படல, தானாகவே crack வந்து இருக்கு) அத சரி பண்ணுனதுக்கபுரம் எனக்கு Near vision சரியா தெரில, specs போடாம ரொம்ப பக்கத்துல வைத்து தான் read பண்ண முடியுது, specs போட்டா read பண்ணுறதுக்கு blur ஆ இருக்கு, Madurai Aravind hospital ல இதற்கு solution எதுவும் இல்லன்னு தான் சொன்னாங்க, specs போடாம பக்கத்துல வச்சு read பண்ண சொல்றாங்க... என்னோட power (Long 7, Near 2).... specs போட்டு normal distance ல read பண்ணுறதுக்கு ஏதாச்சும் வழி இருக்கா doctor... நன்றி...

please consult your eye doctor, they know about what happened in the surgery.. if the surgery went well, then it could be because of cylindrical power..

Sir, I'm 19 year old girl with some power, before 20 days I had right eye corneal infection and it got cured in 1 week after putting some eye drops. Past 3 4 days I'm having cloudy vision randomly and at times my eyes pain too and some tears come out if I over strain my eyes! I fear it might be something serious, or should I wait for some days whether to see it is continuing or not Doc??😭
