'Catastrophic' flooding hits California

More than a half-million homes and businesses were without power in California after an atmospheric river storm pounded the state with heavy rainfall and hurricane-force winds.
The storm is the second so-called Pineapple Express weather system, or atmospheric river storm, to hit the most populous US state in the past week.

Crazy in most states this rain means nothing. It comes and goes it flows. In California it’s a national emergency. Pretty wild. But then again there’s spots people shouldn’t be living in. When the mud starts coming you are kind of screwed. But then again I hope it keeps raining.

Ummm in many states, actually all states, if it rains there’s always a chance of flooding to occur…but this isn’t a national emergency.

Have you noticed how California and Australia where experiencing droughts at the exact same time, then the Hunga Tonga volcano erupted and caused catastrophic warming in the upper atmosphere. This allowed the polar vortex to expand at both poles and its why its driving weather patterns in different directions, have people noticed in the Amazon its record breaking drought conditions. When I saw the effects with the polar vortex they said it will remain like this for at least the next decade in terms of its expansion. So the world really needs to stop them logging in the Amazon right now because if they get a 10 year drought and they are still slash and burning we could lose the Amazon over this next decade, it will be a tinderbox...
