Wonderful countryside! Those falls and river are absolutely beautiful. Speaking for myself, I really appreciate how you and Abby take the time to due somewhat lengthy videos of the scenery rather than just panning quickly across the area. It gives the viewer a chance to experience your adventures as you see them. I got amused at your dog...how badly he wanted to get in the water, but it was so cold! I think he enjoyed the hike as much as you two. Thanks so much for bringing us along on the hike.

I can relate with the knee pain. I love hiking in places like this with my wife and our dog, but my knee is usually the deciding factor on when we can do stuff like this or how far we can go. Thanks for sharing!

This is some of my old stomping grounds. This part of western NC is loaded with waterfalls. Fabulous in the summer and ALWAYS better with your dog!!

Catawba falls is pretty I have been there once Glendal Falls is nice too. both are a long walk. Moravian Falls is great too. The upper falls has an overhanging rock that you can get behind .It has room for 2. The upper falls has a sliding rock too just that somebody has to be at the bottom to make sure that the slider doesn't land on a shallow rock. The pool is 5' deep but has that rock in it.

Dogs enhance the experience. Baily approves!!

Went this past weekend , but we went further passed the falls. Extremely hard and dangerous . I was very nervous but it was worth it in the end !

1.2 Miles (2 kilometers for us Canucks), almost 2.5 miles on a bum knee. Adam, you silly Git, what are you thinking? I mean, thanks for the awesome video but dude, you should be on the couch, playing in the shop or drooling over the pit barrel. I hope you take it easy or that recovery road is going to be a 4X4 trail, trust me.
