Richard, I have several pieces of structure that the crappie will only hit a vertical presentation. You can cast to them all day long and not get a bite but drop it in and jig it and boom your on. Any idea's as too why?

I would love to see you incorporate the “Ikejime” method of fish preservation with your keepers. It purifies the meat, eliminates suffering, doesn’t stress the fish, and the meat tastes sooo much better! You spike the brain, bleed the gills, rinse, then sever the spinal nerves do the meat doesn’t tense up. The results are night and day!!

RGTFM - I've been fishing since I was a little kid; and now I'm 57. I used to believe I was a pretty good fisherman; but you can definitely teach an old dog new tricks. I've been following your channel for a couple of years now; and using some of your techniques. I'm proud to say that I've been way more successful than in years past. Especially when it comes to crappie. Your techniques work as well in Nebraska as they do in Northern Alabama! God bless you and Sue Bob.

Hey Richard i suggest getting some scissors ✂️ and cut all 6 or just 3 gills and bleed the fish and make sure to bonk their head before and keep them in the net in the water to let them bleed out or have them in slush with ice so they can bleed out and make the meat taste better!😊❤

I’ve been using some of the zman baits seem to have little problem getting the baits up to head of jig doesn’t want to slide up onto keeper easily have any suggestions. By the way another great video woo

Quit using keeper jigs,they're a waste of baits and $$. Just buy collar/keeperless jigs and add a drop of CA glue,they'll last a lot longer.

I get my rubber baits off 2 sources for $13per 100. They might not last quite as long as that Zman but I do get 40 or so fish off one bait most of the time when I CA the bait to the jig head,not the $5per 8 that Zman rips you for.

Do a web search.... I found them in 2 seconds checking to see what the price of them were,and they'll stay on the shelf for their ridiculous $5 per 8 baits. I get mine for $13 per 100 and when I CA them to the jig head I average around 40 fish per bait.
