Jimmy has been a long time member of the Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society(FOCAS), and is a strong believer in power of fishing as a tool to become, in Christ's words, Fishers of Men. As more and more people turn away from traditional, organized religion, it's time Christians embrace Jesus's message of love and kindness to reach others for Christ with a servants heart, and be a living witness for Jesus. With over 50 years as a professional angler, and over 40 years on television with his show Jimmy Houston Outdoors, he has used his public platform to reach others for Christ. Jimmy Houston credits his years of success to his faithful walk with Christ and Devotion to the lord. He admits he struggles but works everyday to live for Jesus and become a better ambassador for Christ's love.

Because we often think like children, we're inclined to feel like God's law is a bunch of rules we have to obey. God's law is a blessing and a GIFT to us. A gift! Try to remember how much harder life would be if we had to spend each day trying to figure out the moral path in this world. God has already done it for us. All we have to do is follow his teaching.

If you ever had like a phone call from someone who wants to see you right away. And you had no way of getting out from it because it was instant and without warning. That’s the way life is. It’s one call away from our eventual destination. The good part is we get a chance and a choice to follow the right way for our lives. There’s no reset button in life. You can’t put it off and say later or tomorrow. You have now. And it’s great that God has that door open for you. But it’s only for some time. Don’t put it off. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Good message from Jimmy today. God bless Jimmy and his family and God bless everyone else on this Monday morning. Great Day to be Alive! Thanks God. Sun is just starting to Rise here in Northeast Florida. Prayers sent for the ability to balance and ability to walk of her own for Chris. Prayers continue for strength, patience and good health for you, Jimmy. May you both have a Wonderful week. I have lost the drive pin out my trolling motor doing this once on the lake taking line off the prop shaft. Put a tooth pick in it and fished until the pick got to wet and broke. Once I was home I put a new drive pin in, I put a spare in the boat. God Bless. We Love You.

Amen, He puts right and wrong into our minds and hearts. he instills within us, His Laws but He allows us to choose to listen and obey or not. The sin nature that we are all born with is a very strong thing, satan uses it to persuade us by deception to ignore what God wants us to do or be. Even Paul had his struggles, even though in our eyes they were probably small things, Paul still saw them as struggles that he didn't want to have. But only Jesus could be absolutely perfect so Paul simply had to deal with them. But and this is a very important but, Paul instructed us to put on the Whole Armor of God to help strengthen ourselves in order to limit our sinfulness. We make the choices to both listen and obey God's word, The Holy Spirit, His Law written within our hearts. We choose to Shine for Him or not by our actions, even our thoughts. And it is always a heart thing with Jesus, for He knows our true hearts. So Shine on Brother, for He loves us in spite of us, His Grace is beyond Amazing!

Amen Brother, prayers for wisdom and discernment for Dan. We go today to see the cardiologists for Betty for her irregular heartbeat. Hoping to get a pacemaker put in to give her relief. Tom, I hit a big deer yesterday morning on my way to church, destroyed my truck, a 2006 Tacoma. Now we are without a vehicle so am in process of all of that. A friend from church has loaned us a car until then. God's hand was with us, no one got hurt and it was in a bad place with lots of traffic. Plus, the air bags did not deploy thankfully or things would have been a lot worse for us. He is always working out the details, even in the turmoil of this world. Shine on Brother

Hello Jimmy how are you Jimmy thank you so very very much for getting back to me I greatly greatly appreciate it I know you're a little busy down and I cast hopefully next year I'll be able to get down there this year I had some minor foot surgery and I'm not able to do too much we should be back in order and back in service I'd say probably within a month maybe a month and a half and Jimmy you're absolutely 100% correct Jimmy sometimes we know what we should do but we end up doing something else and you're absolutely right I think we've all done that I'm probably just as guilty Jim as as you are and everybody else and I totally understand but we always got to try to shift our self and gear yourself in that direction always to do what is right for the Lord and to glorify him always and yes Jimmy it is hot up here you guessed it absolutely all I'm telling you we got some of that heat y'all passed up here LOL LOL😂 gosh this month Jim we've been like since the 1st of July 1st of July I have it right here on my calendar 83 the second was 87 and 85 on Wednesday they were the nicest days that's it then after that it's 93 98 100 100 100 100 it just keeps on going we only got 2.53 inches of rain for the month and Justice League from the 14th to the 20th it'll be the one week count we have 1.25 in of rain that's it though yesterday was my mom's birthday on July 16th 86 and we had 0.77 in and one heck of a storm holy moly so far for today the 17th we got 0.48 inches so far they say more rain on the way I hope so Jim LOL hi Jimmy I'll definitely talk to you soon thank you for getting back to me I really appreciate it and I know you're busy down there with the I cast hope everything's going well let me know how you're making out always great to hear I will definitely talk to you soon stay in touch when you can and God bless you and God bless Christ your family I sure do love you all very very dearly
