Once again you give great content and your jig Pole selection is up there. I myself prefer Sam super sensitive in the 10 foot, I also own the 7 ft and 12 ft rear seat too. I use 4 - 6 lb hi vis line by Vicious or Mr. Crappie & crappie magnet and strike king baits, my favorites are the therapist & the orange/chartreuse & refrigerator white with a chartreuse jig head in 1/16 or 1/32. I can't wait until next year to get back out there, I would look real good in that hat or sweatshirt too. I'm still waiting on the xtreme crappie angler clothing to be available, keep me posted.

My favorite style of fishing. I have a 12’ pole, I use my own hand tied jigs. I generally only fish one pole.. might have a spinner in the boat, but I seldom pick it up. I love crappie fishing, it’s my absolute favorite pastime. Those were some stunning crappie slabs. I can’t wait until our lake (West Point) comes up high enough to launch the boat. I’m Sooooo ready!

It’s Mid October and the temps are between 58-68 depending on the day…I thought they’d be closer to the bank but I have yet to see that thus far.

All depends on where you are fishing, some locations we fish have virtually NO shallow fish whatsoever, deep weed lines ranging from 10-16 feet seem to be best on main lake basins

lol you can tell the man is serious about his fishing. Looks like my fly tying room. I have more hand tied jigs than I will EVER use, but I LOVE tying them so keep making more.. I give away lots. Bump into someone on the lake who asks what we are using for bait.. lol but yes I have a whole shelving unit loaded with plastic bins filled with my materials and jigs of every color under the sun

Tried one of these poles in the early spring of 2023 and I looked like a monkey playing with a football. I have 2 of the Sam Heaton Super Sensitive in 7’ and I love them. I’m sure if I bought one I would be able to get used to it over time ….. never know I may get the 10’ model and try and see how that works. Thank you for such informative advice and techniques on how to catch the fish I love to catch the most !!
