Sequel Concept: You have 6 round of "Catch Your Type" and then battle with what you have caught. If you fail a round, that means 1 less Pokemon on your team. The battle is a full battle, with the Pokemon staying at the level they were caught at, and must keep their respective move-sets that they had at the time of capture.

Love it, I would also hope they stay at the same evolution stage as I find it annoying when they evolve them during challenges like that because it means it’s much harder to get something bad because they just evolve and become good

Kinda just luck, imagine going to a place where a pokemon commonly spawns four times and not finding it, and someone else gets it first try just because you told them where you get it.

This reminds me of a challenge I made myself where you have to play pokemon with only pokemon that share one type and the type is decided by a wheel you spin. Once you beat a gym leader you spin the wheel again and once you are at the point you have all the gym badges the only pokemon you can use are the pokemon that you have used so far in the run and your starter if you haven't used your starter yet.

I started with an Turtwig recently and duo to the lack of Fire Type in Sinnoh, did I had to catch an Houndoom. It had 2 perfect IV and Timid Nature, sadly not the hidden Ability. Took a few Pokeballs to capture though, as well as Healing to keep my Higher level Pokemon in so it could not Roar me out

As someone who used to play Chrono Trigger, it makes me sad the creators will never make another game together. Hands down one of my favorite and most memorable games. There was supposed to be an actual sequel but they decided they wouldn't work together again.
