Above, the underwater camera was used to check trawl door performance from aboard FV Chloe Ella.
CatchCam is a fishing camera system that gives fishermen the ability to film their fishing gear in action. This footage helps fishermen understand how fish behaves in and around the fishing net, and identify if changes need to be made to optimise catch for yield, quality or identify ways to reduce unwanted bycatch.
