So guys just wondering, how long does it usually take for your driver to be ready for water from the moment u signal him the proceed?

My Engineer, instructed us that as soon your hydrant evolution is finished, "load the line." "You can't beat me!" And he was right!

@@davidraya8760 Yeah I see, thanks man and I ain’t worried about that anymore! I’m hydrant qualified now and slow is smooth, smooth is fast! I wouldn’t even think about it or overthink it and it varies, by the time my driver is ready for water I need to have the hydrant ready and the nozzle teams needs time to get their shit together too! And they still need to connect the line to the intake!

Why hose is connected to the vehicle ? !!!!!!! Why the hose do not spurt directly toward the fire , without being connected to the vehicle ? !!!!!!!

The engine has a pump that increases pressure of the water making the stream more effective in extinguishing the fire.بو فارس بو فارس
