A lot of those are bluegill and shellcracker hybrids. Nothing beats fishing with a cork, small split shot, small hook and worms. Amazing videos💪🏾💪🏾

I know there had to have been a mess of bad days to get a good one like this! I'm changing from trout fishing the creek to brim in a boat and trying to get all the pointers I can. Great video, thanks for posting it.

Hey Johnny: what is the difference between a blue hill and a redear
@JSOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Well, if you look at a bluegill the bigger ones, especially around the bottom of the gill flap and around the mouth actually has a blue tent and the redear like in the thumbnail for this video actually has what looks like a red ears but I believe it’s the females that are just a darker kind of copper colored ear Sometimes they’re black, but redear get bigger
@Jay-dl4vk Жыл бұрын
I usually end up catching a channel or two. & a crappie. Too sometimes

What's the difference between a bluegill and a redear
@JSOutdoors11 ай бұрын
Well the fish in the thumbnail picture is a redear. They get larger than bluegill and bluegill actually have blue gill plates when they get to a certain size.
