Catching Bluegill & Bass at Discovery Lake- San Marcos, Ca.

Күн бұрынWe were down in San Diego for a few days and went out a couple times to fish at Discovery Lake in San Marcos. The first day we found a bunch of good bluegill on beds. The second day was a tough bite but I was able to get a few before leaving.

Looks like a fun lake. Reminds me of fishing with my dad as a kid. These guys are always gonna remember these times.

Damn i remember fishing that lake when I was young! I fished with shiners and it was almost every cast with those things

@@BassRaider fish stole my worm.lol Texas rig with a shimano tranx on a shimano slx rod. Need some practice all I get is bites but never a fish.

an Infinite flight channel it’s def a tough lake to catch fish at for sure! I heard it used to have good bass but people started taking tons out to eat. Bummer

Mr Random the Bluegill spot was directly across from the main little dock. You kinda just climb through the bushes.🤙

It’s free to fish but bring your fishing license. I had a warden check once there.
