Watched this while im fishing at a canal in Belgium, i love your enthousiasm!! Unlucky on the net, i used to loose fish too but then i switched to Kamakura hooks and never happend again. So sharp even a fish looking at your bait gets hooked ;-) Keep it up its so cool watching you!

@@lottiefishing I went fishing today and lost 3 good carp. 2 snaps and a hook pull. Gutted each time, (me not the fish lol) but I just carried on and hoped for better luck, which I got. It's all we can do.

Don’t do any carp fishing but I do a lot of barbel fishing on the rivers and lure fishing too …. Looks nice and peaceful and time to un-wind from work and family stuff … until your reel scream’s off that is 😁😁👍👍. Lovely fish and you keep up doing what you love and don’t be put off by any negative comments as you always get one 😳😳….. enjoy , be happy and all the best 👍😁🥰

Great video, as others have said loosen the rubber, a lost lead is far less upsetting than a lost fish.

Well done Lottie great video, please don't feel down beat over loosing a fish. It is normal, I used to fish every week, try Jelly Babies and Fruit Gums on a Hair Rig when you can. Tight Lines.

@@lottiefishingyep. Hard club water fishing for a bite, proper Cheshire lumps, locked up snag fishing. Delk went screaming off just before midnight. Done the battle, net ready rolled it's head at the net hook pulled! 😂 wasn't funny at the time. It happens to the best of us, just enjoy your fishing that's the main thing.

I use a golf bag on a cart to haul all my stuff around. I took the cross bars and dividers out of it and I can get three rods inside of it and have plenty of pockets on the side on the bag for my stuff. I still have yet to figure out where I will put my chair. I have a small cylinder chair that I used to use when I was deer hunting that will work.

I call them Parrot Beak mouths, they’re like that because they’ve been A -bullied in, B - the cutting effect of the braid , or both. I must say it’s great to see a young Lady carp n pike fishing in what is predominantly a male pursuit, check out Nattie up North for lots of her American Muskie, Bass, Perch fishing and Adventures, she’s Awesome.

Thx for vid, I wish I could get the bug back. Coarse fished young then a break then the Barrow (no ponsy boats) Marker rods and Spod rods but preferred party pults. Lost the bug for now. Used to love the peace but too many chatty bast/people now

I’m new to your channel, I’ve subscribed. Great video & content, very entertaining. Where I come from (N/West England) we call carp with that type of mouth a ‘parrot mouth’, but seems it depends where in the country you are from as to what they’re called locally. Unlucky losing the first carp (we’ve all been there) but made up for it with the second. Lovely lake you fished, with plenty of features to target. Can’t wait for your next video. 👍🏻🎣

Thank you. I bought the sonik 9ft rods for short session day trips and the sonik travel system bag so literally my rods, tackle box, net and bait all fit in one bag on my back. It's really handy.

Its why its called fishing and not catching, sometimes it happens and its gutting, especially when you see the fish and realise how nice it was. In the future play them more and let them wear themselves out a little more so when you bring them in that dont happen, plus theyre less wriggly when you hold them. Happy fishing :)

They call thoseVv mouths too much pressure on the fish. The dragon set too tight or you're not giving enough line to the fish. Sometimes people don't really know how to play the fish. Plus people using rods way too heavy for carp. I think you shouldn't be allowed to use no more than 2 lb test curve rods for carp in lakes and pods.

Or a mug fish, been caught too many times. Personally I think it will be a water where the fishery is only interested in money, and overstock to bring in more punters, I would never fish waters like these and never had. I will always have the fishes welfare first, fish care is my number one rule. Sadly catch rate and the industry is only geared for a quick success and the newbies want instant pictures etc. I don't photo my fish now I did many years ago when I have to get my film developed and even then it had to be a pb or an exceptional specimen.
