Yep been there, although it was not at that high speed. Since then I learned and tought myself when comminting to an edge to make sure that my center of mass is stacked over that edge as well, otherwise the risk of cathing the opposite edge is big

Had one similar to that 5 weeks ago, more slope though. Broke 4 ribs and collar bone. Only one witness, she said I did a backflip. I been questioning that until seeing this.

Caught one going 38 yesterday and did 3 back flips. It was like catching an edge 3 times in a row. Helmet dented & I had to buy a new one

Sheeshh, i caught similar edge like tht once after landing a jump. Luckily i had helmet on avoiding a big concussion. But i was laying down for like 1min since my head banged hard against the ground

he really had to dig his toes in there to lift the heels up, when you do a stop like that its incredibly important. I don't think hen caught an edge, rather just leaned backward into his turn, or wasnt leaning enough forward. Safe riding!

Yeah, been there, done that, hurts like hell if you're lucky. Hate catching the edge more than anything 'cuz the fall is so quick I can't react. Thou like others, say, looks less of an edge and simply more of not turning/bending properly.

Heel edges suck. I always do it when I'm just cruising not paying attention or get lazy

You pivoted with your knees not bent and you did not put your weight on one pivot point which should be one foot or the other. So you did not disengage your edge. Your boots might be too stiff too. 😜
