Hi, I read your comment and found it really relatable. The first verse that came to mind was, Proverbs 14:12, "12There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death." I just checked out the chapter and, actually, I think a lot of the verses are relevant. There are a lot of places in Proverbs that speak to the discrepancy between the the struggles people who follow God face and how deceptively nice the lives of others are. The problem is that for people of the world the carefree and prosperous days won't last. It's easy for them now but as Christians we're focused on the longterm, on the things of God that actually matter and will last. I hope you can be encouraged.

Praying for you young lady. You may have to part ways with the non Christian friends . 2 Corinthians 6:17. Following the Kingdom of God causes us to make some tough decisions, but God wants to be first above all things. Seek God first, and the right friends will remain.

Someone also once told me that I am “too emotional.” Since then I’ve learned that I don’t have to accept the perception of myself that others project on me. I believe conflicting desires is proof that we are called to carry out a Kingdom Purpose by our Father. Not everyone experiences this conflict. My Heavenly Father has also revealed to me (through the work He’s been doing in my life) not everyone is aware of their emotions, or equipped to handle them and this can often incite fear. I pray that you continue to allow our Dad to use you and your emotions for all things according to His purpose.

I can relate too, it feels like there’s so much more to think about and I barely hear God so I’m always stuck. It’s just so complicated when it doesn’t have to be. Non Christians can just make a sound decision for themselves but I wanna try to ask God what I should do but that never comes.

I feel this exact same way. There is nothing wrong with your emotions. This is what makes us human. If others don't like that you are "emotional" then they are not for you. And the conflicting desires is you fighting your flesh to walk to with Yah (God). It is not easy but I know I wouldn't be where I am today if I never took this path with Yah. I know it will get better for you.
