@Mark Turnbull It is a lot harder to get high subscriber counts on KZfaq these days, and can take years of hard work. Especially for us fishing channels, as it takes a lot of effort to film our videos, unlike gaming and talking channels. That being said, their content is superb, and their channel is actually experiencing crazy growth right now. At their current rate, they will be at over 100k subscribers in less than 12 months 👍 I want them to make it big, and they will!

Until I caught a 65lb Halibut out of Bandon on a surprise (for me) all depth opener, my PB fish was a 35-40lb Thule that took me for one helluva ride down there. Ran under other boats, through lines...never, by some miracle, got tangled. But then I got it to the boat. Adipose bigger than a garrison flag, check-mark spots like a Jaguar. Rolled it out of the net to spawn, but damn it was fun! Interestingly, I've fished for over-size gators a few times..others on the boat caught River Monsters in the well over 100lb class, one that probably went several hundred pounds...all I ever got was shakers. /shrug Miss those days, someday I'll have a boat of my own and do it again. OR I'll book a trip with Cameron...I'd be OK with that.

I landed a 156 halibut in kodiak Alaska but I still think a 20 to 30 lb tuna is the hardest fight I have had

Over 70, crew up in Longview and used to fish end of summer around bouy 10. I never got any over 36 lb but I was on boats with over 40s and one at 52 lb. But those you got were bigger then what I’ve gotten lately. Tight lines!

Was a great day! Was out with Popov that same day. One of our guys was fighting a fish while I watched casey fighting …. lose his fish. Knew it was huge from the expression I could see on Cam. Bummer

I worked out of astoria oregon for ODFW from august to November of 2018. Beautiful town and I loved the fishing. Wish I could have gone fishing early august on a boat haha

We can catch fish that are up to 90 pounds in the skeena the biggest on record is 99.9 pounds

You can keep them. They are just lower quality, because they spawn lower in the river system. This means they have begun there transformation I.E. hook nose and hump back.
