What exactly is a gator trout I've been trout fishing for years I've never heard of one much less seen one and I so appreciate the fact that you didn't show it

That is a great question a gator trout is a term we use to describe a large trout the size may very depending on the person. Me personally a gator is anything citation worthy in my state which is 24” or bigger. I have a second video coming out next week that shows the fish it’s hard to get it all in one 60 second video.
