love the fun these guys have together. We used to take the kids crawdad fishing just to get a kiddie pool full of crawdads for steelhead on another coastal stream in Oregon. That was the go to bait for us!!!!!

Nice show Nick and Dave! Crawdad favorite bait early/mid 80's fishing SW Washington rivers for summer runs, we use to buy live crawdads in Woodland at the bait/tackle shop that is now I believe to be an AM/PM.

We used to get rock lobster (poor mans lobster tails) frozen and cut it up and cure it with scent for steelhead, My father inlaw said they had been doing it for a long time. Its old school chunks hold together and if you can find it on sale its cheap

I got a 22lb hatchery summer run on the kalama many moons ago on a piece of crawdad meat and yarn. The picture was up at the store until they closed down.
