You can tell they really appreciate that bike after a couple months that bike is looking really clean! It’s always fun to take the kids out riding they always surprise you with how much they learn. I know a little fella on a dog clutch 110 KLX already doing whips and everything. They learn so fast.

When I was a kid, a man named Nolan Ryan was my "Dean Wilson". It affected my life so deeply. Nolan and his wife, Ruth were, and are, such awesome, wholesome people. At the time, as a 10-12 year old Little League pitcher...my heart still swells. Our relationship affected my whole life in incredible ways. Doing the right thing. Believing anything is possible. Showing others extraordinary opportunities whenever possible. Always trying to be a positive example for kids. Total comfort around any level "Star", and more. Great stuff, Deano! I grew up close to Jeff Stanton. Went to same school. I was a lot younger. He used to come to my house and hang out with my sister. We were poor af and lived in a trailer on a couple acres (rented). I loved riding and was always so stoked when he came by, but he never treated me close to this. Actually never offered me anything-no riding tips or anything. He coached my middle school basketball team for a bit and I guess that’s giving back. Only time I got his autograph was at Redbud. I looked up to him something huge and he just wasn’t nice. I became a Soldier and later a cop that was unfortunately severely hurt and lost my career. Saw Jeff on social media talking about a ride they went on. At the time I couldn’t walk and I just commented something along the lines of wow, that looks fun! I remember those days. Wish I could still go do that! And he and his wife (whom I knew and whom also hung out with my sister a lot) blocked me. I didn’t ask for anything free. Didn’t ask for anything at all actually. Asked how they’ve been, but that’s all. Blocked me! Seriously?!?! Maybe you have to be a total ass to win championships and think less of everyone else? I don’t think so though. Ricky Johnson was nicer to me than Jeff ever was. And I only met him for five minutes when I was like ten. Disappointing when people are like that.

I think there should be more guy's like dean ,that are pro riders, I think the dude is sickkkkkk with it, one hell of a guy,and I'll be praying for him and that little guy.

Its all about the Kids! Motocross is Best sport in the world! My best Christmas Ever I was at the age of 13. I have 3 older brothers and one younger and I already had a YZ80. A snowy cold Michigan Xmas early morning with the fireplace glowing in the living room, and Santa having a Yamaha TY80 under the Christmas Tree for my little brother! I was more excited than him, I just couldn't believe it!!! It was the coolest thing ever!, even to this day. Deano, you are Top awesome!
