The *only* thing I wish was different about Vanity's look was the headpiece squished her face with the frills of the collar cutting off her chin and the pearl strands just resting on the top her wig. If there was just a tiny bit more breathing room (either by lowering the frills to open up her face or lifting the pearls to create negative space above her hair) it would be absolutely perfect

What STEPHANIE PRINCE is wearing is not a HAT. Those are "Bangas" or Jars stacked upward. “Banga” (ba-nga), is a round or spherical jar made of clay, used for fetching water and mostly adopted by the northern region of the Philippines. Kalinga women place a coiled piece “jikon” that is made from a straw plant “ligis,” or they use a rolled cloth on their heads for support while carrying the banga. Try searching and watch the Banga Ethnic dance. This dance is performed with Kalinga women showing their agility in balancing the bangas or JARS on top of their heads while mimicking toddling through rice paddies and mountain paths; a daily routine to fetch water from the mountain springs.

I wish Silkie had done a double walk: once with that INCREDIBLE black velvet coverup (which Imma be honest, I was DYING at, no idea it was just a cover) and then again for the reveal. I’m not a big Silkie stan, and usually am not as taken with her looks, but BITCH did she look stunning!!!! 😮
