I see the 'short hacker's .... There's a reason ... thesame material is dense, heavy and packed. He's working around the chisel, plus trying to save on the machine. I've ran machinery most if my life. Yes, it has the capabilities of powering into the overburden, but he's getting trucks loaded about as fast as needed .... why subject the loader to the added wear and fuel consumption? Just my opinion tho, born to argue the points. Anyways, enjoy a Blessed Christmas and New Year's, one and all.

I had to google some of the specs of this thing. Weighs over 500,000 lbs with near 1800 hp. Can't imagine what a new one costs.

@@lluisayatsrovira8828very true the bottom of the bucket is pushing into the face. Rather than the bucket lifting up through the materials to fill the bucket and then cause loose materials to fall back down the face
