Would really like to see you use more bluegills "BUT" with a much shorter leader as in about 12 inches. With the 2 to 3 foot leaders I had bad luck also because I believe the big fish were having a hard time catching the fast little gills. I shorten my leaders to a foot or less and what a world of difference it made! Keep up the good videos brother!

Here in kansas we don't have skips so I like to use white bass and bluegills occasionally shad but mainly white bass in the spring and fall shad and bluegill in the summer

"Another small flathead." No Dave, that's not a small flathead. I caught one this morning bank fishing at a local reservoir, that had to weigh in at about 12 ounces, maybe a pound. XD My 2nd smallest of the year.

What a good day of fishing! One to remember.

White bass/stripers are my favorite bait along with skipjack of course. Caught some of my best fish on big cut baits of white bass

Most fisherman just have a standard beep beep bite alarm. This guy has somebody sittin on the bow starts playin gee-tar when there's a take.

This just told me that I'm terrible at finding flatheads. What sort of areas do you look to set up on for them? Depth, structure, bottom composition, current breaks, etc?
