Catharine works with both natural and synthetic dyes. In this case she used a natural indigo dye. Try Graham Keegan's website for kits and resources -- www.naturaldyekits.com/natural-dye-questions-and-answers

I'm sorry, you developed a shibori technique a few years ago? Shibori has been around for millennia.

Hi there! Shibori has been around for a very long time, indeed. And Catherine did develop with a local mill her own pre-woven fabrics for people who didn't want to hand thread fabrics. So both are true! Let me know if I can assist you in any other way. Enjoy being creative ;-)
