Cathedral Cave, Golden Gate National Park - South Africa

This trip all came together about 10 days ago, I saw an epic image on instagram of this magical place in the Golden Gate National Park, my mind started to tick, I had to make this happen. I got in contact with a mate of mine Ivan, who knows the area well and got exact gps coordinates of the spot. From then on it was simple, grab my mates, get in the car and go!
It was a first for all of us, we based the entire trip on one single image and gps coordinates, it could have been a dud, however after "bundu" bashing our way there, we arrived and to be honest this video does not even do this ethereal place any justice!

What an amazing adventure! The hike there and the surroundings geology is incredible. This Cathedral Cave is absolutely gorgeous. We recently toured the Cathedral Cave at Onondaga Cave State Park and we can't wait to go back. Greetings from Missouri ♡
