@@RPGAmbientSounds This cathedral library ASMR/Ambience video of yours inspired me when I was writing one of my fanfictions: archiveofourown.org/works/23642206 This fanfiction is part of a series (the main story is in three parts and I sometimes add a one-shot companion piece here and there): archiveofourown.org/series/1500296 Of all the fanfictions I've ever written, this series is the one I am the most proud of. I put a lot of energy, hard work and love into this one, probably more than in any of my other works (doesn't mean my other works aren't good, just that I'm more passionate about this one) and I was inspired by so many good ASMR/Ambience videos when I wrote it. I'm very thankful to all the ASMR/Ambience content creators who inspired me when I wrote this series and all my other written works that I posted to AO3. I was lucky enough to once :) Visited the biggest cathedral in Poland. It was just like this, but huge. It was awe-inspiring. God's throne.

@@PyrusTitaniumDragonoid It's actually the Sanctus, it's a hymn prayed or sung before the most sacred part of the Catholic Mass, it's only the song that Angels sing to God unceasingly. The translation goes like this: "Holy, Holy, Holy, are You, Lord God of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Your Glory, Hosanna in the Highest, Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord. Hosanna in the Highest!"

The sweet sounds of a mysterious holy library. The turning of the many pages of books and ancient scrolls, while some scribble notes of study. The flickering of candles amidst the gentle breathe flowing through the air. Ancient hymns sung upon the air echoing through the endless halls and passages. I would give anything to travel to that time and live in the same era. It might be quite the experience.

When I listen to this I'm very relaxed and helps me practice my calligraphy. It's interesting because I feel like I'm inside Monastic Scribe world. In certain parts I hear an etching of a nib on parchment paper as well. Very nice.

As someone who also has a history degree, I agree with this big time. There's something so strange about how that era draws you in and captivates when you really study the mundane realities of the time and totally reject the pop culture depictions (I scream internally when I see or hear mention of the barren, intellectually-starved "Dark Ages"). All history is fascinating, but medieval studies just has that extra element, and the deeper you go, the more awe-inspiring each little document or artifact becomes. If everyone could see past all those stereotypes and myths and outrageous semi-true stories, they'd see that it's so much more captivating than the entertaining urban legends and shock-value depictions.

This is the exact ambiance I've been looking for! The past 4 years I've been slowly decorating my living and dining room in a medieval/King Author-ish style. Not to overboard, but just enough to mix with mid-century furniture. This audio brings it all together, full circle. I also experimented with my PC sound card features using acoustics like Forest, Cave, Parking Lot, Auditorium, Cathedral and amphitheater. Cave gives it a real nice touch :-D Thank you so much for this!

My absolute favourite of the ASMR soundtracks. Over this past month, I have used it to write up a fantasy novel, drawn a series of maps for a D&D campaign and most importantly of all, use it every night to put my son to sleep. Thank you

It's time to dust off my quill and commence writing. And yes I have a collection of feathers I have picked up off the land fallen from the many birds that inhabit the area, with the intention of turning them into writing quills and writing with them. :)
