It is the cathedral of the city of Jaén, episcopal seat of the homonymous Province Jaén, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, to the south of Spain. Built on an old Islamic mosque between 1249 and 1801.
They emphasize the room capitular and the sacristy that are top work of Andres de Vandelvira and some of the most important works of the Spanish Renaissance.
The main façade is also one of the most important works of Spanish Baroque and its great choir one of the largest in Spain.
It is inscribed in the indicative list of Spain of the patrimony of humanity.
