In this episode we set out to explore the father's role in leading his family. Rather than being a position of dominance, we agree that taking the flak of family headship stems from a deep-seated desire to do what is right for the woman we love and admire, and for the children she has brought into our world. We acknowledge that, as the years of our marriage unfold, we fall into a reassuring pattern of mutual support and appreciation, where the ebb and flow of taking charge relates to our individual strengths. But, men still have the burden of a divinely ordained responsibility on our shoulders - that of leading our family to heaven. And, when all is said and done, it'll be our knackers on the line if we haven't stepped up!
