So that we can sin all we want? No. He bore it so that we can come before, Him, YHWH as clean people without blemishes. The message of the gospel is clear - the good news of God - that you and I have been redeemed only if we repent (change our ways for the better) and put our trust in His sacrifice; not just believing but also trusting because we cannot be saved by our own deeds. Then we read the scriptures daily to get more understanding of God and save other people 🙂.

The answer to that question is all over the Bible you just have to learn to point it out. I don't think there's an actual verse where Jesus said I came to die for your sins but you must understand the people of that time lived by the old testament which in reality spoke of Jesus at all times but the people didn't know. There are plenty of reasons God sent himself to be born of a woman to take on human flesh. It would be a couple of long messages but I do believe I could possibly get you to see it. But the first noticably verse is the chapter 1 of Luke the angel Gabriel said be not afraid Mary for you have found favor with God and you shall bear a son and name him Jesus for he shall save the people from there sins. That is the first scripture that really knocks the nail in. If the Catholic guy had known to say that he probably would have puzzled the doctor so much he probably wouldn't have known what to say.
