Hello again, everyone, long time no see! I've been pretty busy with college work recently, so I haven't been able to get a lot of progress done with my other videos at the moment. I figured now would be a good time to upload my first speedpaint video on the channel to give you all a little more content! Some of you may have seen this Poppy Playtime fan art being showcased in my Community Tab, and a lot of you really liked it, so I thought it would be a great first contender! 👍🏼💖💗 GREAT WORK MELLOW!! The format of the video is nice, with a good speed ( and I saw that you didn't upload it as a short, good). I already told you what I think about this awesome drawing, so I don't need to repeate it. Im going to be honest, I liked the first idea for the drawing ( with the giant catnap). I like the process, but I have a question. On several times, you flip the drawing for a second, and I don't know why. I seen it on another speedpaints and I still don't know the point of it.

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 💖 I'm glad you enjoyed watching the speedpaint and that it wasn't too long, I was a little worried about that lol 😅 And actually, I did really want to originally include the larger Catnap that you saw in the beginning, but I was drawing this for fun at like 10 pm, and by the time I finished about half of it I didn't have the energy to include it anymore 😭 And to answer your question, flipping the canvas or drawing is a great method of checking that your art doesn't look strange or disproportionate! Have you ever looked at a drawing of your own and thought that something about it looked off but you couldn't put your finger on it? Flipping the canvas horizontally and looking at it from a new perspective REALLY helps!! I do it all the time when I'm drawing to make sure everything looks okay! I highly recommend it to you as a strategy! 😁
