Narrator: As a final precaution, it is necessary that the installer not breathe while working with the Duo Cone seal. This will prevent contaminates and bacteria from affecting seal performance.

14 years ago (2005 - 2009) I installed so many duo cone seal in Indonesia for haul truck 793C , 789 , 785 , 777 , 773 and i used the same tool as you have in this video and much easy for me to do it myself.

Looks so much easier having the installation tool. I've been either working them in by hand, or using little bites with bamboo and working it all the way around

FYI- metal faced seals protect systems such as axles, drill heads, final drives, idlers, mobile track systems, mining equipment, pumps, rollers, tunnel boring cutters and undercarriages.

Cat seals operate in the harshest environments to seal in oil and keep contaminants out of a system. Many factors go into selecting a specific seal for an application. Some of these factors including oil type, system temperatures and pressures, external environment, or rotational speed could cause premature failure if not considered properly.
